HopeLine and Domestic Violence Prevention

Verizon
Wireless’ HopeLine program collects, refurbishes and re-uses cell
phones to provide free phones and service to domestic violence victims.
Since 2001, the company has collected more than 3.5 million phones,
awarded more than $3 million in cash grants to domestic violence
agencies and organizations, and distributed more than 40,000 phones to
be used by victims of domestic violence.
